What are the age and licensing requirements?
Operators must be at least 18 years old with a valid photo ID. Anyone born on or after January 1, 1988 must hold a Florida boater safety certificate to operate a jet ski. Children can ride as passengers (minimum age varies by operator, typically 5–8) with adult supervision and proper safety gear.
What should I bring for my jet ski adventure?
Bring swimwear, a towel, reef-safe sunscreen, sunglasses, and a waterproof phone case. USCG-approved life jackets, safety equipment, and watertight storage for personal items are included. A change of clothes for after the ride is recommended.
